You’ve made an amazing discovery! A fantastic invention that can improve our way of life! California holds the right consumers and investors for your organic nose ring. As long as you can avoid starvation, dehydration, the cold nights, and the blistering days, the walk should be beautiful. Maintain your character, depend on others for generosity or make your own luck, and experience the United States in a way you definitely have not before.

GAMEPLAY

In this homage to systems based adventures, you are a hitchhiker trying to make their way across the United States. On your journey you will experience hardships that will force you to make difficult choices to continue on.

Take note of various events that occur and affect you on your journey. Some will be good news, others will be bad, but it’s up to you to journey your way through and experience them.
Forage for food and other nourishment, or purchase them at towns to satiate health as you continue your journey across the nation. Steal clothes that were set out to hang-dry so you can keep your hipster self looking fresh and hip.
Take on the role of a a hipster lad or lass as they create a fabulous new invention that just won’t sell in their home state of Maine. Maybe the bigwigs in California will be more into you ingenious product. Only one way to find out. Weave a tale as you begin you walk from the east to the west

& i even stole someones shirt on the way!


I like the atmosphere. -and that trash trading gentleman. If this game had a longer journey and some random events, like freky people who give you a ride & tell their storys it could really become quite the trip.

PS: there is a "BUG" in the audio file of the beginning song, some really mean itch noise at the end of the loop.
